Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 244.70 points (+2.18 percent) this week when the bourse closed Thursday afternoon at 11,485.23 points.
Trading value during this week accounted QR 2,582,247,569.589 and the trading volume reached 902,736,912 with 54,334 transactions.
Market capitalization accounted QR 661,258,314,271.490 as compared to QR 648,909,187,513.640 at the end of previous week.
Banking and Financial Services sector increased 39.25 points (+0.83 percent) to 4,772.49 points and Consumer Goods and Services sector dropped 15.24 points (-0.19 percent) to 8,180.19 points.
Industries sector increased to 213.44 points (+5.53 percent) to 4,071.86 and the Insurance sector dropped 18.35 points (-0.71 percent) to 2,551.13 points.
The Real Estate sector gained 25.08 points (+1.40 percent) to 1,816.44 points. The Telecom sector increased 31.22 points (+2.96 percent) to 1,085.11 points and Transportation sector added 10.31 points (+0.30 percent) to 3,409.90 points.
From the 48 listed companies 34 ended this week higher, while 13 lower and one company unchanged.
