On August 28, 2023, the Qatar Calendar House revealed that the occurrence known as the Blue Moon takes place when the moon achieves the full moon phase twice within a single month according to the Gregorian calendar. In this scenario, the second full moon is termed the Blue Moon. As per the official statement, this phenomenon is expected to take place in the month of August.

According to information, the evening of August 30, 2023, is anticipated to showcase the most substantial and most luminous moon of the entire year in 2023. The imminent full moon represents a fusion of both a supermoon and a blue moon.

Additionally, the 30th of August will witness the presence of the ringed planet Saturn alongside the uncommon blue supermoon. Those observing the skies can spot Saturn positioned around five degrees to the upper right of the Moon."

The supermoon occurrence pertains to the moon's proximity to Earth when it reaches its full phase, resulting in its appearance being larger and more radiant.
