Asian Youth Tenpin Bowling Championships
Qatar has snagged the bronze medal at the 22nd Asian Youth Tenpin Bowling Championships, hosted by Malaysia. The event is set to continue until Aug. 28, 2025.
Talal Al Marri, player of the Qatar team, succeeded in achieving third place in the singles event, who impressively made the cut to secure the bronze medal in a new milestone added to Qatar’s bowling achievements.
He finished third after Singapore's Aiman Raedyn Lim Jen, who took first place and the gold medal, and South Korea's Bae Su Hyeon, who finished second and received the silver medal.
Al Marri said he was delighted at winning this bronze in the singles category and standing on the podium at the Asian Championship, emphasizing that the contest was tough, as he was aiming for first place. However, some small specifics prevented that, but he is happy to have won that bronze.
This medal represents a tremendous catalyst in the pursuit to achieve further milestones in the future, particularly amid the substantial support being received from the rest of peers in the Qatari squad, alongside the Qatar Bowling Federation (QBF) and the coaching team, Al Marri said.
He has so far won the Boys' Doubles Gold Medal at the 24th Asian Youth Tenpin Bowling Championships 2025, organized by QBF in collaboration with the Asian Bowling Federation at the Qatar Bowling Center.
