Egyptian Cultural Week
The Egyptian Cultural Week in Qatar held its first coordination meeting in Cairo on Thursday.
A Ministry of Culture delegation participated in the meeting that discussed the organizational details of the event due in Darb Al Saai from January 28 to 31.
The activities are intended for celebrating Egyptian heritage and enhancing cultural cooperation between the two countries through artistic shows and workshops for traditional and heritage crafts, open spaces and an open theater.
The Qatari delegation presented their proposals to produce a high quality event, emphasizing their keenness to strengthen cultural ties between the two peoples.
The Egyptian Cultural Week will be the first cultural event of 2025 in Qatar.
In a related context, Egyptian Minister of Culture Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano confirmed in a statement that this event reflects the depth of cultural relations between Egypt and the State of Qatar, and highlights the Egyptian cultural identity through heritage and arts.
Egypt seeks to present an honorable image that reflects the antiquity and diversity of Egyptian culture, and strengthens the bonds of cultural cooperation with the Qatari side, the statement added.
