The Competitions Committee of the Qatar Handball Association announced the schedule of matches for the first division of the Men's League for the current sports season 2021-2022.

The league will start on Saturday, Sept. 11, with three matches between Al Sadd and Al Gharafa, Al Wakrah with Al Khor, and Al Rayyan with Al Ahly.

The first section of the league will conclude on Saturday, October 23, with five matches in one day, in which Al Khor meets Al Rayyan, Al Gharafa vs Al Shamal, Al Ahly vs Al Sadd, Qatar vs Al Wakra, and Al Duhail vs Al Arabi.

Al Duhail won the Men's Handball General League title last season 2020-2021 for the third time in their history.

It is noteworthy that Al Rayyan holds the record for the number of league wins, winning the title 14 times, followed by Al Sadd who won it nine times, while Al Ahly and Al Jaish won it four times, Al Duhail three times, Al Arabi and Qatar twice, and Al Gharafa and Al Wakrah once each.
