Qatar's Jassim Shaheen Al Sulaiti will be Arab Archery Federation Vice-President for the new term (2024-2028).

The Qatar Shooting and Archery Association Secretary-General was elected Thursday during an Arab Archery Federation assembly in Iraq's Sulaymaniyah, on the sidelines of the Arab Archery Championship.

The assembly re-elected Ibrahim Al Dosari from Saudi Arabia as president.

Al Sulaiti ascribed his winning to the unwavering support from the Qatar Olympic Committee, headed by HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, for the sport in Qatar.

Qatari competencies now taking over leading Arab, Asian and international shooting positions best exemplifies the development of the sport in Qatar, he added.

Al Sulaiti added that the trust in him acknowledges the Qatari administrative competencies' good reputation across regional, continental and international organizations of various sports.
