The Ministry of Municipality has recently unveiled a forthcoming real estate platform tailored for stakeholders, including real estate brokers and developers in Qatar.

Scheduled for an imminent launch, the platform will provide comprehensive data analysis services and facilitate price comparisons for properties within Qatar. Users will gain access to valuable insights about prime investment areas, empowering investors to make informed decisions. This announcement was made during a workshop organized by the Ministry of Municipality, aiming to introduce company owners and real estate developers to the unified real estate platform in Qatar.

The workshop featured key figures such as Tariq Juma Al Tamimi, the Director of the Technical Office at the Ministry of Municipality, Khalid Hassan Al Mehshadi, Director of the Real Estate Brokerage Department at the Ministry of Justice, and Omar Al Yafei, Assistant Director of the Information Systems Department at the Ministry of Municipality. It was attended by numerous company owners, real estate developers, experts, and specialists.

Tariq Juma Al Tamimi expressed that Qatar's real estate platform is on track for launch in the coming days. He emphasized the Ministry's goal to present data and statistics in a transparent and organized manner, promoting transparency for all stakeholders in the real estate sector. The platform will cater to brokers, real estate developers, institutions, and companies operating in the sector.

Al Tamimi highlighted the Ministry's intention to engage the private sector in the real estate development process, leveraging feedback to enhance the platform continually. The workshop served as a platform to provide details about the real estate platform, its objectives, and interfaces, while fostering an exchange of views and suggestions.

The platform's objectives include offering easy access to information about the real estate sector, encompassing all relevant laws and legislation. This transparency is designed to provide investors with a clear understanding, encouraging them to make well-informed investments. Aligning with the Real Estate Development Strategy, the platform aims to further streamline the real estate sector.

As part of broader measures to boost the real estate sector, the Ministry of Municipality is actively establishing a Real Estate Regulatory Authority, slated to be operational within the next two months.
