Saudi, Jordanian Foreign Ministers Review Regional Developments

Riyadh: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held a telephone conversation with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi to discuss the latest regional developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions. 

During the call, the two ministers reviewed the evolving situation in the region and stressed the importance of supporting diplomatic initiatives to de-escalate tensions and enhance regional stability. They also highlighted the need for continued coordination and unified positions in addressing current challenges. 

The discussions reflected the close cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Jordan on regional and international issues of mutual concern, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to consultation and joint action in support of peace and security. 

The ministers underscored the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving disputes and preventing further escalation, while emphasizing efforts to strengthen stability across the Middle East. 

The telephone talks come amid continued regional diplomatic engagement involving Arab countries to promote calm, reinforce security, and support initiatives aimed at preserving peace and stability.
