Singapore overtakes Qatar to claim the title of "World Best Airport"

After Qatar had the title of best airport for two years, amid the height of pandemic travel restrictions, Changi Airport in Singapore has recaptured it.

The Asian hub moved Doha's Hamad International Airport into second place at the 2023 Skytrax World Airport Awards, with Tokyo's Haneda Airport taking third.

While Paris Charles de Gaulle was Europe's best performer, moving up one spot to fifth place, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport was the highest placed North American airport, languishing in 18th place, an improvement from 27th place the previous year.

The Skytrax World Airport Awards are decided by customer satisfaction surveys.
