Qatar & United Kingdom Sign MoU
The State of Qatar signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to enhance cooperation in the field of cybersecurity, as part of the state visit of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the United Kingdom.
The MoU was signed on the Qatari side by HE President of the National Cybersecurity Agency Eng. Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Farahid Al Malki, and on the British side by the Director General of Defence and Intelligence at the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) of the United Kingdom Jonathan Allen.
The MoU aims to enhance bilateral cooperation, exchange expertise, and develop joint capabilities to address the growing cybersecurity challenges, thereby contributing to the mutual interests of both countries.
