Qatar MET issues wind and marine warnings as temperatures are set to decrease tomorrow
The Qatar Meteorology Department has forecasted the onset of fresh to strong northwesterly winds, impacting both inland and offshore areas starting from November 28, 2023.Â
These winds are expected to persist throughout the week, resulting in decreased temperatures and heightened cold sensations, particularly in the southern and outer regions of the country.Â
During this period, a marine warning has been issued due to wave heights ranging between 5 to 9 feet, occasionally reaching up to 12 feet.Â
The department strongly advises against engaging in any marine activities and urges the public to rely solely on official weather updates from recognized sources via social media platforms.
