Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Qatar
QNA
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education called on students wishing to study outside the State of Qatar to get an approval from the University Degrees and Certificates Equivalency Department before the do so, in order to avoid studying at universities that are not accredited.
The ministry said that the list of accredited universities are available on its official website. Students can use the list to find out if the university they wish to join is accredited, before they start their application process.
Qatari students also need to apply for an approval by going to certificate.edu.gov.qa. Non-Qatari students just need to check whether the name of the university they wish to join is on the list, and do not need an approval from the University Degrees and Certificates Equivalency Department prior to joining the university.
