6. eFIBA World Finals Qatar 2026

The IBA Season 4 World Finals are showing Ā Qatar’s rising position on the global digital sports stage, bringing together eight national squads for a pretty electrifying competition.

The teams get split into two groups. Group A has Algeria, France, Germany, and the Philippines. And Group B features the hosts Qatar, the Dominican Republic, Lebanon, and Türkiye. Each nation sends five players,  40 participants in total, all of them pushing hard for glory

There is a prize pool, it’s USD 50,000 overall. The champions will receive USD 20,000, the runners‑up get USD 10,000, third place earns USD 6,000, and fourth place takes home USD 4,000. On top of that, there are personal awards that add some extra prestige, like Finals MVP and Defensive Player of the Tournament, each one worth USD 2,500. There is also an All‑Star Five Team, with USD 1,000 per player.

And beyond the matches, the finals also reflect Qatar’s ongoing effort to make esports more accessible as a channel for sharpening youth abilities, building teamwork, and improving cognitive development. it’s not only a thrilling showdown, but it is also a milestone for the region’s digital sports journey.
