Hassan Rabia Al Kuwari, the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Local Committee overseeing the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, discussed in an interview with Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the committee will soon unveil its plan for ticket sales and distribution methods for the upcoming tournament. This plan will align with the official agreement made with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

The approach for selling tickets and handling their distribution will be disclosed shortly and is likely to follow a similar strategy as that used during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022â„¢.
According to Al Kuwari, the Hayya Card, designed with specific terms and procedures, serves as the most convenient means of entry for Qatar residents and GCC residents. There is a potential consideration of connecting this card with tournament tickets, an announcement that may come from the relevant authorities in the near future.

Scheduled to take place in Qatar from January 12, 2024, to February 10, 2024, the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 will utilize six World Cup stadiums. Anticipated to draw a significant crowd, this event is poised to greatly benefit the league. The host stadiums include Al Bayt Stadium, Al Thumama Stadium, Ahmed bin Ali Stadium, Education City Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium, along with Jassim bin Hamad Stadium and Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium.

Al Kuwari also noted that the league matches will be held in club stadiums, as the World Cup stadiums will be readied to accommodate the 2023 AFC Asian Cup and the 2024 AFC U-23 Finals.
