3) State Grand Mosque:

Ranked #3, one of the largest mosques in Qatar and is renamed after “Imam Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab” reformer of the 18th century. It is located high on a hill just south of Corniche, giving an overview of Qatar Sports Club in Doha’s west bay. It is a fascinating mix of both Arabic and modern architecture, spread over an area of 175,000 sq. m with air conditioned central hall where 10,000 men can offer prayers at a time. This mosque can house 30,000 worshipers at a time including the outdoor area.
