It will replace the Singapore Grand Prix in the 2021 calendar, after Singapore were forced to give up their place on the calendar for health and safety reasons.
At the start of this season, the Turkish Grand Prix was removed from the 2021 F1 calendar due to restrictions on international flights, but now Turkey are ready to host the race in October, with F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali expressing his delight over the news.
