“Enough is Enough” H.H The Amir calls Israel’s actions Unacceptable at Shura Council
Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, HH the Amir, led the inauguration of the Shura Council's 52nd annual session, corresponding to the third ordinary session of the first legislative term. The event was hosted at the Tamim bin Hamad Hall within the Shura Council's headquarters on a Tuesday.
In his introductory speech, Sheikh Tamim strongly criticized the Israeli assaults on the Palestinian population, firmly declaring 'we've reached a breaking point.
Addressing the commencement of the Shura Council's 52nd annual session, he emphasized, "We've reached a limit. Granting Israel unrestricted approval is unacceptable. In our era, we cannot tolerate actions like blocking access to water, medicine, and food, referencing Israel's actions in Gaza, including continuous attacks on civilian areas.
HH The Amir also emphasized Qatar's ongoing commitment to peace-building.
He stated, "In our foreign policy, we strive to play a constructive role in promoting peace and resolving conflicts through peaceful means, all while balancing our principles and interests." The event was graced by the presence of HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Personal Representative of HH The Amir, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, and HE Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The event was attended by Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, along with several distinguished Sheikhs, Ministers, heads of diplomatic missions representing the State, and notable dignitaries.
