The second edition of the Hamba Exhibitionâa celebration of Pakistani mangoes and related productsâcontinues to draw large crowds at Souq Waqif, thanks to its vibrant setting and wide variety of offerings.
In just the first five days, the exhibition attracted over 50,000 visitors, reflecting the strong public interest and popularity of the event.
Over this period, more than 104 tons of fresh Pakistani mangoes were sold. These mangoes are flown in daily to maintain exceptional freshness and quality for attendees.
The exhibition showcases an impressive selection of mango varieties, with Chaunsa and Anwar Ratol among the most sought-after due to their distinct sweetness and premium textureâan indication of the publicâs discerning taste and appreciation for high-quality fruit.
Restaurants and shops participating in the event have also enjoyed notable attention, offering a range of mango-infused desserts and dishes that contribute to an immersive and flavorful culinary experience.
Khalid Saif Al-Suwaidi, General Supervisor of the Exhibition, remarked, âFrom the very beginning, the turnout has surpassed our expectations. Visitors are enthusiastic about the specially imported mangoes and the creative mango-based options presented by restaurants and shops. We remain committed to providing a memorable and rich experience for every Souq Waqif visitor.â
The exhibition runs until July 19, 2025, and is open daily from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with extended hours on official holidays until 10:00 PM, ensuring more people have the opportunity to enjoy this seasonal highlight.
