Labor Ministry
The Ministry of Labour, represented by the Department of Qualifying Skills and Development and the Department of National Manpower Recruitment, participated in the Careers Fair for Adults with Disabilities, hosted by the Hilton Hotel.
The event aimed to facilitate the employment of neurodivergent individuals and assist them in identifying roles that align with their abilities.
This participation forms part of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to connect jobseekers from all backgrounds with private-sector institutions and to raise awareness of available employment opportunities. The initiative aligns with the National Strategy for an Effective and Highly Productive Workforce 2024–2030, which seeks to increase citizen participation in the labour market and boost productivity through effective labour policies.
During the fair, officials from the Department of Qualifying Skills and Development provided comprehensive information to jobseekers about the Ministry's efforts to bridge the gap between jobseekers and private-sector employers. They also detailed vocational training programmes designed to prepare and equip participants for future entry into the labour market.
