The Ministry of Interior has announced a three-month grace period for expatriates who have violated Law No. (21) of 2015, which regulates entry, exit, and residency in Qatar. The grace period, starting on Sunday, February 9, 2025, allows individuals who have overstayed their visas or breached residency regulations to leave the country without facing penalties.
Violators can complete their departure procedures either at Hamad International Airport or by visiting the Search and Follow-up Department on Salwa Road during official working hours (1 PM to 9 PM). The Ministry made this announcement on social media on February 8, 2025, urging affected individuals to take advantage of the opportunity before the deadline.
