The Qatar Central Bank has declared Sunday, March 2, 2025, as an official holiday for all financial institutions across the country.
In a statement shared on its social media platforms, the bank cited the decision as being in accordance with the Council of Ministers' Decision No. 33 of 2009, which amended certain provisions of Decision No. 6 of 2008 concerning public holidays in Qatar.
The announcement also confirmed that all financial institutions will resume operations and reopen to the public on Monday, March 3, 2025.
