Sooum App to Host Exclusive Number Plate Auction on 25 February 2025

On 18 February 2025, the General Directorate of Traffic announced that starting 25 February 2025 at 8 am, exclusive vehicle numbers will be made available through the "Show Interest" window on the Sooum app.

To acquire these numbers, interested individuals can follow a straightforward process:

• Select a number from the available options.
• Pay the required deposit to express interest.
• Wait 48 hours for the interest period to end.
  • If only one person shows interest, the number will be sold at the listed price.
  • If multiple people express interest, an internal bidding process will occur.
  • The auction will remain open for 24 hours, with a 15-minute extension if a new bid is placed before the auction closes.

The Ministry of Interior urges individuals to download the Sooum app and take part in this unique opportunity.
