Today, Qatar is expected to experience rising humidity, hazy conditions, and high temperatures.

Doha, July 22, 2025 – The Qatar Meteorology Department has forecast a hot and humid day across the country, with hazy to misty conditions observed in various areas since early morning.

Temperatures in Doha might reach as high as 40°C, and inshore weather is predicted to stay hot to extremely hot.  There may be scattered cloud cover and some dust in certain areas.  Throughout the day, winds that blow between 8 and 18 knots and perhaps gust up to 28 knots will change from variable to northwesterly to northeasterly.

Inland visibility is expected to be between 4 and 9 kilometres, with some locations perhaps seeing visibility of 3 kilometres or less as the day goes on.

Misty weather started the day offshore and will soon give way to hazy sky with a few patches of cloud.  After being erratic at first, the winds will mostly shift from northwest to northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  From 1 to 2 feet inshore and 2 to 4 feet offshore, the sea condition is predicted to be mild.

Authorities have advised residents to take necessary precautions against the high temperatures and reduced visibility, particularly during the hottest hours of the day.
