HH the Amir Visits Doha International Book Fair
HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani visited on Tuesday the 32nd Doha International Book Fair, held under the slogan 'With Reading We Rise' at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).
During his tour, His Highness was briefed on the most prominent publishing houses in Qatar, and those from brotherly and friendly countries. HH the Amir visited several pavilions participating in the exhibition, including the pavilion of Saudi Arabia (the exhibition's guest of honor for 2023), as well as the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Kuwait and the Sharjah Book Authority. His Highness was introduced to a number of publications and books on display, and exchanged conversations with those in charge of the exhibition about the importance of reading and promoting cultural exchange between peoples and civilizations.
During the tour, HH the Amir was accompanied by several of Their Excellencies the Ministers and senior officials.
