Minaretein Center to Host Special Ramadan Event with Mufti Menk
As Laylatul Qadr, the Night of Decree, approaches, the Minaretein Center, in collaboration with the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs and the Abdulla Bin Zaid Al-Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center, is set to host a spiritually enriching event to help the community deepen their understanding of this sacred night.
Renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Ismail Menk will lead the special gathering, offering insights into the virtues, significance, and immense rewards of Laylatul Qadr. The session aims to guide attendees on how to best prepare for this night, seek Allah’s mercy and forgiveness, and enhance their spiritual connection through du’a, dhikr, and Qur’an recitation.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 10 PM, following Taraweeh prayers, at the QF Ceremonial Court & Green Spine in Education City. The lecture will be delivered in English, making it accessible to a broad audience.
During the session, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of why Laylatul Qadr is considered better than a thousand months and learn practical steps to enhance devotion, sincerity, and presence of heart in worship. The lecture will also emphasize the importance of supplication, dhikr, and Qur’an recitation, providing valuable guidance on making the most of this blessed night.
Participants must register in advance, as entry requires a QR code for verification upon arrival.
Parking is available at Oxygen Park and Al Shaqab, with tram services to the HQ (2015) stop for easy access. The event is family-friendly, and children are welcome to attend.
This special gathering promises to be a profound and uplifting experience, offering a unique opportunity to reflect, seek blessings, and strengthen faith in the final days of Ramadan.
