Souq Waqif is set to welcome mango lovers once again with the return of the Hamba Exhibition, celebrating the best of Pakistani mangoes and products. Organized by the Celebrations Committee of the Private Engineering Office, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Doha, the exhibition will run from July 10 to 19, 2025, at the Eastern Square of Souq Waqif.
Building on the tremendous success of its debut last year, the second edition promises a richer and more vibrant experience. The event will feature participation from over 60 Qatari companies and 10+ leading Pakistani exporters, introducing a variety of premium mangoes — including several being showcased in Qatar for the first time.
Visitors can expect to explore a diverse selection of mango varieties flown in fresh daily from Pakistan, complemented by the involvement of more than 25 restaurants and vendors in the food and hospitality sector. The exhibition will highlight a range of creative mango-based dishes, desserts, and products — adding a delicious cultural and culinary layer to the celebration.
Khalid Saif Al-Suwaidi, General Supervisor of the event, shared his excitement:
“This year’s Hamba Exhibition is designed to exceed expectations. With a larger number of participants and a wide selection of mangoes, we aim to deliver a unique experience that fuses high quality with authentic tradition. We've installed efficient cooling systems at the venue to ensure the freshness of the mangoes throughout the event.”
Al-Suwaidi emphasized the importance of early attendance, as some of the rarest mango varieties are expected to sell out quickly. He also noted the exhibition’s role in enhancing trade and economic ties between Qatar and Pakistan.
Daily timings are set from 4 PM to 9 PM, with extended hours until 10 PM on official holidays.
Speaking on the occasion, H.E. Muhammad Aamer, Ambassador of Pakistan to Qatar, said:
“The Hamba Exhibition is more than a fruit festival — it is a tribute to Pakistan’s agricultural richness and a celebration of our enduring friendship with Qatar. We are proud to see this partnership flourish through cultural and economic exchange.”
Serein Asad, Trade and Investment Attaché at the Pakistan Embassy, also expressed her gratitude to all organizing partners for supporting what she called a “mega event” that strengthens bilateral trade and cultural appreciation.
Whether you're a mango connoisseur or simply looking to experience something unique, the Hamba Exhibition 2025 promises an unforgettable summer event full of flavor, tradition, and connection.
