4. Free Ice Hockey, Skating, and Curling at ABHA Arena

Winter sports are heating up this summer. The Qatar Winter Sports Committee, in collaboration with Years of Culture , keeps the Qatar Canada and Mexico 2026 Year of Culture Winter Sports Development Programme running with  amazing mix of public activities.

If you're a curious first-timer or you’re already fully into ice sports , there’s something going on on the ice for everyone. Just get your skates on for open house sessions , catch a live ice hockey series game , or have a go at curling during a come and try session that’s made for beginners. It’s a great opportunity to experience world-class winter sports right here in Qatar.

Schedule of Activities:

• Saturday, 11 July

Ice Hockey Open House: 6 pm – 7 pm
Ice Hockey Series Game: 7:10 pm – 8:20 pm
Ice Skating Open House: 8:30 pm – 9:45 pm

• Tuesday, 14 July

Curling Come & Try Session: 6 pm – 8 pm

Location: Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena.
