United States has thanked Qatar and other countries for helping evacuate Americans from Lebanon during the ongoing Israeli attacks.
The U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs announced on Friday that it has facilitated 6,400 additional seats in the past two weeks to help evacuate Americans and their families from Lebanon.
The U.S. Department of State of Consular Affairs stated on their social platforms the following: “Our teams are working tirelessly to assist U.S. citizens in Lebanon. Over the past two weeks, we have made more than 6,400 additional seats available to help U.S. citizens and their families depart Lebanon. We’re thankful to the governments of Türkiye, Qatar, Oman, Germany, and Greece for their help with these efforts. There are available seats on flights this weekend, and we urge U.S. citizens in Lebanon to take advantage today by completing the crisis intake form (http://mytravel.state.gov/s/crisis-intake) or calling +1-202-501-4444.”
