Doha Municipality conducts inspection campaigns of food companies, stores

Inspection campaigns

Doha Municipality, represented by the Health Control Department of the Municipal Control Department, carried out intensive inspection campaigns on food supply companies and stores in the Industrial Area, during which a store without a licence was seized that tampered with the validity dates by extending their periods during the process of repacking and packaging foodstuffs.

A violation report was issued and legal measures were taken against the violator.

Large quantities of damaged vegetables and fruits unfit for human consumption were also seized, which showed signs of deterioration inside one of the unlicensed warehouses.

These intensive efforts come within the expanded inspection campaign implemented by the Municipal Control Department in the Industrial Area in cooperation with the relevant agencies within the framework of the efforts of Doha Municipality in implementation of the plans and strategies of the Ministry of Municipality.
