Air Cargo Customs recently thwarted a smuggling attempt after a package, allegedly containing foodstuffs, aroused suspicion.

Qatar Customs displayed the discovered substance on their social media channels.

They revealed that the package concealed about 200 grams of cannabis, ingeniously wrapped within chocolate candy wrappers.

In a related incident on October 9, officials at Hamad International Airport intercepted a smuggling attempt, unearthing 2.07 kilograms of Shabu hidden amidst a stack of papers in an incoming traveler's luggage.
