Ministry of Education and Higher Education
It has been confirmed by Doha’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education that the academic calendar for 2021-2022 will not change.
School dates and exam schedules are fixed according to the school calendar for the current academic year, which was shared on social media by the Ministry.
“The Ministry of Education and Higher Education brings to the attention of the public that classes and exams are scheduled as previously set on the school calendar for the academic year 2021-2022.” stated the Ministry.
The Ministry also suggested contacting official sources and platforms for information. Following several incorrect social media posts about the suspension of schools, the Ministry confirmed the calendar.
Those in grades 10,11,12 take their school examinations between December 1 – 12, and those in grades 1 – 9 take them between December 1 – 9. Schools will resume on January 2, 2022, following a half-yearly break from December 19 to 30.
