In Doha, Qatar, the Ministry of Labour has introduced a digital service for altering job positions listed under a general work permit. This service empowers employers to request job changes for their employees without the need for in-person visits to the ministry's central or branch offices.

This initiative is part of the Ministry of Labour's broader strategy to enhance the digital infrastructure within the labor sector. Through this new service, employers can update the job titles or professions of their employees who hold valid work permits. Additionally, they can check the status of their applications and seamlessly transition to the contract attestation system for employer-employee agreements. Furthermore, the system allows for the transfer of updated job information to the Ministry of Interior.

By offering these comprehensive online services, the Ministry of Labour aims to streamline processes, eliminating the requirement for physical visits to ministry offices and the submission of paper documents.
